This wood will ensure that the dumpster does not cause scratches or cracks, along with the driveway. It is important to take this necessary precaution because the dumpster owner will not be held liable for such cracks and scratches. 

Make sure you choose the most leveled part of the driveway when using a dumpster

A hard and level surface is the most suitable area to place a dumpster in your driveway, and if possible, you should consider a concrete surface because the concrete is dense enough to hold the weight of the dumpster and its content. It is quite rare for a dumpster and its weighty debris to cause any damage to a concrete, flat surface. You may still place a dumpster on an asphalt driveway, but the issue here is that the asphalt driveway must be strong and dry enough to avoid impressions and surface damage.  Do not place a dumpster on a grassy surface, the dumpster may sink into the soft grassy ground and the grass may eventually become torn off. 

You can also protect an asphalt surface if that is what your driveway is made of and you don’t have an alternative area to place the dumpster. Make sure you choose the most leveled or flat area on the asphalt surface and make sure you place the dumpster under a shade, putting the dumpster on asphalt surface under heat can further increase the risk of the asphalt surface being damaged by the dumpster. You should also consider placing wood boarders under the corners of the dumpster tires to ensure that its weight is well dispersed.
